My setup, a pre-millenium La Pavoni and a doserless Compak K6. Replaced the doser with a 3D-printed chute, still need to sort out the coffee heaping up in the chute. I think I'll make a small shovel to just scrape it out.
And plan to replace the Pavoni's pressostat with PID control. Almost have the temperature sensing sorted, then I need to wire up a relay and get to tuning the parameters.
