bargain
I'd say so and worth the trip to Oxford: you could buy his bike box and bring it back on the train...

Your size...
But that DT bottle cage is pretty far down!

I was one of the many people emailing him waiting for measurements. Should have just taken my chances and bought it. Stunning.

Listing a custom bike without measurements means bidding is a lottery if you're planning on riding it. Hopefully the winning bidder lucked out and agreed it's real nice!

It's annoying that he didn't know the measurements, considering it was made for him! He said 57cm but head tube looked long and I was worried it'd be a touch too big. If it'd run as an auction I reckon it would have gone way higher than that.
There have been two Roberts Max bikes on there recently, hopefully they come in threes and the next one will be 56 square.

Dang one of you guys should have just gone for it! :)
Could have stripped and sold all the parts, would have made the frameset even more of a bargain
I also got this one off the bay not so long ago,
Bit of a weird size, but I’m going to build it up and see how it turns out.

That was an interesting auction - I'd love to know the prices achieved.
How do I get to find similar auctions, before the day fo the sale preferably ;-)
No, it was a light-hearted remark: I am watching it and hoping no-one bags it before I can get the cash together.
But it's fair game.
I am a bit concerned Argos have stopped making them though: the link on their site is dead and they haven't replied to my enquiry...
