I remember riding 72"fixie with the CTC over blackstone edge or the snake pass, somewhere like that. I'd got a serious wiggle on going downhill and hit a cattle grid on a corner, the whole bike slid about three feet, much to the amusement of my mates. How I stayed on was beyond me.
