• That looks fucking supreme man. Do miss the Arkose. It felt great on 650's. Happy with the double? Not considering a 1x setup? Also, does it feel a bit jittery over rough ground on the inline post? Did for me a bit, but made it more fun for some reason.

  • 48/32 is a decent range, I'm keeping it for now, as the 32/34 combo may prove useful off road.

2.3 is just about too much as tyres flex likely to rub on the chainstay, luckily there's a G-One Speed in 2.0 instead which will be a lots better.

Felt like a road-going version of a fat bike, G-One Speed is awesome, so much nicer on the road than the standard G-One, haven't tried it off road yet.

seatpost is fine, it's standard own brand one, gonna source a 46cm Cowbell handlebar.

  • Fair fair. I do think 48/32 needs be far more common for everyday use.

G-one speeds are magical. On tubeless, I've used them on really sharp coastal rocks (upped pressure a bit) and they flew. Minor cuts, but not a single pinch or fail. Anything a bit sandy and they do skitter a bit though.
    What pressure you running?
I'd needs a new bike to use them again though. Only using the 26" monsteur these days.

  • Amazing tyres, seem to come with a free tailwind. Been impressed by the 2.35s but want the 2.0s as the potential perfect fat-ish road tyre.

  • But does it float? Thames commute potential.
