The best scenario with these bars would be getting tendonitis in thumbs while on drops as the “bridge” is on the freaking way where the thumb would normally be.
That was my thought, they should have put the wing where it is on a bullhorn to keep the full hook free of obstruction, would also allow them to shorten the stem and head tube even more and provide the old Scott Drop-In style handhold too.
In all seriousness, this could help with tendonitis in thumbs on rides involving alot of heavy braking on descents. I have this problem, and have double wrapped the tops of my bars and wear two pairs of gloves, but my hands are still wrecked from repeated impacts after going off road and I have had to almost give it up.
Or get a proper mountain bike with a front shock and stop pissing around with all this 'gravel' 'cx' bullshit
