Has anyone any experience of these? £220 from Wiggle, I'm thinking about using it to commute on. Single speed MTB, low maintenance and bomb proof. Am I mad???

I did it for months until I moved house and had less storage. They're brilliant fun, and bombproof indeed. I put Schwalbe Big Apples on mine.

Thanks, I'd change the tyres, SPD's and mash the commute, for £220 I don't think you can go wrong!!!!

Got the 2014 disc version. Fantastic bike for the money, put a WTB Bronson on the front and I can't fault it (aside from a slightly dodgy chainline, which was sorted with a few spacers).

Can't vouch for the V brakes, but the rest of the bike is solid.
