FS: 🇫🇷 PEUGEOT “Tradition” classic steel Roadster, 63cm C-T, Sturmey Archer 3 Speed, Brooks, etc...

Hi All, after much fettling I’m selling this Peugeot “Tradition” town bike. It’s a classic steel frame hybrid from the late 80’s with Sturmey Archer 3 Speed gearing, and comes complete with the original stainless steel mudguards and pannier rack, so would make a super comfortable and practical commuter.

The frame is in good used condition, no dents etc, I’ve tarted up the paintwork, and the seat tube measures 63cm c-t, while the top tube is 60cm c-c, so definitely a bike suited to a tall rider.

Before sale I totally overhauled both hubs, replaced the Sturmey gear shifter, and changed the chain for a new KMC one, so the drivetrain is running smooth and quiet. I’ve also fitted some new parts including chrome moustache bars, new grips, a matching chrome seatpost and teamed that with a Brooks B17 saddle and switched out the pedals for some steel ones.

The bike’s also had new cables, brake pads, and I fitted a very lightly used Schwalbe Marathon tyre at the front and a Marathon Plus at the rear, so plenty of puncture protection. That said the rims are steel and do have some surface rust, but nothing major.

With the B17 included I'm asking £200 £195£190£185 o.n.o collected, although I can knock down the price with a less fancy saddle, or could include a lightly used Brooks B33 (see picture) for a bit more. Postage is possible but I’d prefer collection from London E14, so please shoot me a pm if interested, thanks.

Thanks very much, yes according to the Peugeot catalog this is the largest size it came in, although it was only ever made in two sizes. I admire your discipline with the 2 bikes!
