It's not supposed to be. It was the laziest fucking type of pictures so many people did when I was at Uni. It worked too.
Someone (and I know they did the whole project the night before on a coke bender) was genius enough and described it as "an aesthetic critique on the throwaway culture of modern society"Fucking brilliant that was.
Just the general style, I do not enjoy it at all; the lighting and the framing.
Its a popular aesthetic in fashwan photography, but it just looks shit imo, its not flattering to anything or anyone.
I always assumed it meant to look like some throw away shots on a disposable camera, but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
