Custom Paint - Workshop specials.

I've got a small carbon frame and fork that I want painting like this

Light pink to blue horizontal fade. Fork is new and raw, I'm happy to sand the frame back to raw myself.

Where to go? Don't want to post the frame and don't want to pay £500 if possible. Cole coatings apparently too busy and not taking on much new work according to someone on here.

Brand new paint and already chipped everywhere....

Nope, not me. Never have had a frame painted in my life. I'm more of the "paint looks like shit, but who gives a fuck" kinda guy.

Thanks man, quick tally using your price list puts what I want at something like 480 quid which is about double what I paid for the frame and a fair bit out of my budget. Not that it’s not worth it, the work you do is amazing.
It may be that I just can’t get what I want for a price I want to pay without rattle canning it myself.
The bike is a surprise gift and I’ve got a full build to pay for yet though ::

If it's a gift, why not go the DIY route? Made with love and all that?

Yeah I probably will do that. Rattle can clear coat just doesn’t give the same shine :)

The trick is to polish it really well.
HMU when you get to that stage and I'll give you some pointers?

I'm a frame builder, not a finisher ;)

Pretty good at it considering it aint what you do best though, hey!

But for realz man, next time I visit, I'll show you some of my sneaky tricks. Need a good quality CLEAN gun though. I use a Sata Minijet for speckle effects.
