Hi...what size is the seatpost on this, please?
-

Hey, the seatpost is 26.8mm but I reckon the frame is designed for 27mm, I tried 27.2mm but that's a no go. Haven't got around to ordering one.

Haha, never said a good one :P odd French Frame size with no information available online. The owner before me tried to sell it with a 26mm. Fits far more snug now.

Just yanking your chain: it looks very tidy! :0
That's odd, the unusually sized Pug-post people usually struggle with is smaller than that: 24mm or 24.8mm, depending on the source.
Thron was available with either 0.9mm or 1.0mm tubes, which would need a post of either 26.8mm or 27.0mm unless it's a metric tube.
I'm not sure Columbus ever offered metric tubes, but Peugeot were big enough to have had whatever they wanted...

Thanks, I'm a big fan of the colour scheme. Just don't have the space.
Interesting, I didn't know that about Columbus. Cheers for the information. -

Bike now sold to User86174 :)
BIKE NOW SOLD
I'm going to regret this, though not enough room.
A lovely bike, quite a good spec'd bike in its day. The tubing makes a very responsive ride.
Recently serviced. wheels nice and true with plenty of life in them. Fully stripped down and cleaned. New gear and brake cables, inner and outer. New bar-tape, chain, saddle, tires and inner tubes.
Usual marks on frame, odd scratch and paint chip nothing to worry about, has been used and loved.
PedalRoom with full spec
Seat tube - 60cm
Top tube - 58cm
Head tube - 17cm
Quill stem - 13cm
