I tend to buy watches I like before anything else.
However, when you start learning about exotic movements, your tastes will change to more expensive watches.15 years ago id buy any old shit I liked (I had 3 Storm watches at one point) now I'm more of a watch snob.
Also, don't listen to @ejay2.0 when it's about Seiko... ;)

He's only jealous because they're better than the watches he sells.

See if there are any deals on the new Presage enamel dial models, SPB047 etc...

"you know how it is, one dabbles..."

I like the guy on QVC that names all his watch movements. You see a £500 watch, then you google the movement and find out it's twenty quid... My mate sells watches and is something of a Lemania junkie. Valjoux 7750's always make me laugh on a £2k watch, when all they do is pretty up the rotor.

Do you want a new 39mm or the classic 36mm?
I have a pal about to visit Japan. I also have another pal raving about the cheapness of some Seiko domestic market watches. I love the engineering of watches, what should I read to see if I should turn my pal into a mule for a watch for me :-)
