From Stayer Cycles. I think they plan on expanding the samples wall.

Amazing.
I already spoke to Sam and Steve. Sam is going to add some mounts to my fork and then sends the whole frame set over to Steve. Just need to decide on a color now. -

Just for reference some samples from the old Armourtex. Some of them have RAL color codes. I went for the turquoise lacquer for my classic steel track frame.

Just about to get my cdf f&f blasted and powdered, am choosing between Mario and Armourtex but consensus round here seems to be that Mario is the one to go for over new Armourtex. I spoke to them on the phone this morning and they mentioned that they're going to be at London bike show but I was wondering whether this means they're trying to turn it around? Any suggestions welcome!

Came out a bit lighter than the RAL4004 I requested but he did a great job. Well masked, good finish and turned it around in a week.

Spoke to new Armourtex and they are opening a shop on Hackney Road to offer powder coating and other services. I've had four bikes done by them and have been happy with their work.
I think people to need to manage their expectations.

Wonderful. Thanks.

No worries. I have all my bike painted by Steve (aurum finishing) and it has been great. He doesn't do super fancy stuff like hoops or Cole coatings but he delivers high quality powder and matching wet paint for your carbon forks at very reasonable prices.

I think Sam told me yesterday that Steve used to co-own Armourtex? In any event, I have heard him highly recommended from about five separate sources now.

great choice
The quality of Steve's work is excellent, I've had a few things done by him and I'm just about to send another F&F off to him - Alu frame with carbon forks, I'll post the results.
