Cat flap installation - easy enough? It's ground floor and the back door has a wood panel so which I assume we could just cut a hole and install a cat flap, and when we move out either remove cat flap and cover the hole, or just replace the whole wood panel?
It's a rented flat so may not be allowed, but just thinking for now.

Not enough cat pics in this thread. Sammy 9 is now around 18 months old and he has the most gorgeous timid personality. He has to be close to me all the time he is indoors and waits patiently for me to get up and get his breakfast - no cat alarm here. He still has a squeak for a meow.

I put some Prinivox on our cat yesterday as it’s been a while and the poor guy has been scratching like mad and left clumps of fur everywhere and a rather sore looking patch where he’s been itching.
Is this even normal? He seems himself other than being a little uncomfortable. Still eating/being friendly etc.

Best to wait. You want to be sure a new cat has somewhere settled to move into :-)

Lula balula has been enjoying boat life & has even ventured outdoors to have a nosy. She has had a tough time, she has been sick so often & we have this mostly under control, although it seems to be starting up again. After some super expensive tests (thank goodness for insurance) it turns out she has a sort of IBS & a sensitive stomach along with not being able to absorb B12. She has also become a lot nicer to us, most of the time when she isn't being a diva. Yesterday we even managed to give her front paw claws a trim! There was still the growling & fighting but we are getting there.

on my commute in today - usually see a long haired cat similar to this one (below):
he's never bothered by bikes and last summer i used to stop and give him a stroke when he was on a wall - he loved it - not seen him in a while, but today he was there! :)
(EDIT: he loved it, well i loved it too!) -
