  • Sounds like a good plan! I'm super happy with mine, finally got round to getting some 38mm carbon rims for it before christmas, so will have new shoes soon. Also, definitely take it to RadBikes if you have any issues, Tom and Ben are great. I could see if I can find that noodle I used for the front brake and drop it in there for you - it helped a bit from memory but I have hydro now

  • Yours looks great. Did you have 160 or 140 rotors on the spyres - and are you still running them?

Anyone have experience with Juin R1’s? Have heard both very good and terrible things about them.

  • They were 160 but only lasted a couple of months before Chak made me an offer too good to refuse for a full hydro setup. The stock pads are pretty crap, but with the right ones they were fine.

@Howard has used the Juin's I think without any major issues. I seem to remember either Sweedee or Dick tried to set them up (or might have been Hy/Rd) on their CAADs and found the cable angle to be even worse than the Spyres

Edit: just had a look and I think it must have been Hy/Rds I was remembering - the cable angle on the Juins looks fine, maybe even a touch better than the Spyres
