Basically, the original top has a kind of threaded post that attaches to the original cantle frame. The ritchey thing didn't have the corresponding hole, so I shortened the front of the plastic and made a hole, but I also needed the saddle rails in the correct place, so the front rivet wasn't needed. Therefore, it is a coach bolt with a washer to secure it, and clamp it down into the rubber top
