Correction. He did have certain fades (around 1985, I even used to have one myself... But it was a completely different kind of fades (front and rear in different coulours, nothing with horizontal fades).

They're small:

Spotted this smallish road bike, zona frame - Not heard of the maker before though.
Hmmm, I am such a "connoisseur" than? ;)
My guess is that it's fake as hell (apart from the forks). Never saw a faded Merckx before and definitely never a Merckx that didn't have engraved seatstay caps.
