North road

I think of a North Road as having more drop (or rise, depending on which way up you fit them) than an Oxford.

Could be, but there have been so many variants and manufacturers over time that I would still place it in the same style family.

Yes, same family and at some point they meet in the middle, but clearly something with no rise is Oxford and something with a lot of drop is North Road :)
