File tread are the first choice for snow.

Are thru axles specific to frames? (genuine question I have zero knowledge of them)

I don’t think so but I assume the female part of the bolt which sits in the dropout is specific

Weird that it didnt come with them then. If it was second hand the previous owner wouldnt need it and if it was new new then shouldve come with them anyway

Suggestions for a 26” cheap gumwall for this? I was thinking schwalbe road cruiser k-guard (at £16 a tyre) - anyone tried these?
