Maybe change of bars etc. - Don't know if you have a serial number, but there are some pictures of the serial I think.

Is there a way to report a thief selling bikes and parts online, without actual proof?

Just report it to the local plod and repeat to them what you've said here. Seems fairly obvious to me, but you never know if they'll act on it, quoting "lack of resources" as usual.

I'd rather do some kind of anonymous tip off.

I don't know the safest method of alerting the Po lice, but I'm luvin your method of getting the saddle back.

My bike got stolen at work near Southwark bridge. Only got one picture with different saddle and handlebar. It’s a 1996 cannondale r800.

STOLEN BIKE: 8BAR FHAIN V2

My 8BAR was stolen from my flat in Peckham last night so please keep your eyes peeled!

I work at London velo so contact me or go there if you have any deets!

Parts and descriptions:

Noticeable ding in the top tube of the bike on the drive side that can be seen in photos

Had a basic black Raleigh front wheel and a different wheel on the back with a deeper alloy rim with Yellow spokes

Giant connect stem with decals taken off and giant pro mtb bars

BMX pedals with cinelli straps

Sugino pista crank

Faded cinelli via seat post

Had a number of stickers that can be seen in the photos

The first pic is the most recent iteration of the bike!

Club mate and I both had our bikes lifted from Canopy (SE24, Herne Hill) on Sunday post-Club Run, just before 5pm, two blokes, caught on CCTV by Canopy and the Costcutter on Norwood Road. Reported to Police etc but just wanted to ask people to keep an eye out for these, please.

My bike is the white Ribble as pictured, didn't have the carradice and that on it though, 4 Seasons instead of gatorskins, black Deda Zero stem and it had a Fabric line (black/red) instead of the saddle pictured here.

Mate's is a matte black Rose Pro DX Cross with gumwall panaracer.

Donation to the forum if we find them!

UPDATE: No news but I do now have the frame number from Bike Register.
