Red and white is fine.
I don’t have anything in hand to paint red and white as yet though, hence the lack of email! -

I'm sorry chaps, I really don't want to go full Uber Gruber in this thread, so I'll rein it in.
After a final word from our sponsors, anyway:
Lynx, I suspect you are aware of what a contemptible ruin of a man you are, my suggestion is that you sort yourself out.
I don't think you can, I think you'll go to your death being unworthy of hatred, but hey - maybe there's hope that you could, one day, be less of a cunt.
Look in the mirror.

Post pictures of car and the engine. Record videos of that awesome engine.

If you see me at goodwood, please don't be offended if I ignore you.
EDIT - I think the lead of the team that designed the MK1 Mx5 suspension at IAD maybe there for the weekend. Will message you via here if I can get hold of him and he is around on saturday. A group of us are going the try and catch up on Saturday evening lower Mundum.

I have two car related questions:
Does OZ Racing rims use standard 60 degree taper wheel bolts?
I had my 9 yo steer my Micra, while I pushed it up a pair of ramps. Had him disengage the steering lock. Haven't been able to start the car afterwards. When turning the key it just resets the odometer. No cranking. Assume the ignition switch died when he tried to unlock the steering. Will it be a massive faff to replace with it's NATS immobiliser system? -

The OZs I have are 60deg taper, infact all the Motorsport wheels I have are

Neil I had a chat with the guy on the phone before christmas about this car, when I was still living the fantasy of having a fast estate (before I buckled and got a roomy, faceless, slow, gallic pig).
FWIW the guy seemed pretty genuine and the car does look lovely. He said he's in no rush to sell which is self evident. Money's fairly strong but there aren't many others to compare it to...
Have you driven one? They are lovely comfy lazy torquey but don't really feel that 'quick'.

I had some OZ Superleggeras that used normal wheel bolts so I’d assume so, but they may be model specific.
How new is this Micra again? Does it maybe have a tow away immobiliser that you tripped? You disengaged the steering lock but maybe not the immobiliser, then raised the front which would be very similar behaviour to someone towing the car away?

Internet points.

It's a K11. A tow away immobiliser sounds a bit too fancy for that generation, right? And it resets the odometer, which seems like some sort of short?

Ah! Interesting. Was it on for the same price then?

What did you do to the car while it was on the ramps? Is it possible you reset the ECU?
-
• #40997
Yep AFAIR. Never got around to going to see it because baby. It's out Colchester way I think.

How is James (the cat)? Still in London?
EDIT: Still locking him in? You destroyed the cats environment by adding lots of other cats and weren't happy that he wanted not to be there.
EDIT - That really show what kind of person you are.

You should definitely post more pics though! Especially from trips like that!
