A man who drove for more than 40 years without a full licence before
he caused a fatal crash on the M4 motorway has been given a suspended
    jail term.

Lloyd-Owen, who was found guilty after a trial last month, received a
12-month prison sentence suspended for two years.

Compare and contrast with Charlie Aliston - 18 months, not suspended for cycling at 10mph and colliding with someone who stepped out in front of him.

  • Fucking bonkers isn't, Charlie wasn't allowed a lapse in concentration was he.

It wasn't like this prick went down the classic route of denying death by dangerous driving and admitting death by careless driving, but still he gets a suspended sentence.

Just watch I bet the fedex driver convicted of 8 counts of death by careless driving will get a sentence about the same as Charlie A.

  • Fucking bonkers isn't, Charlie wasn't allowed a lapse in concentration was he.

Obviously we'll never know, but given how much of the case focused on the illegality of his bike, it's not unreasonable to think he would have otherwise got away with a suspended sentence.
