Love the green 'pro' drop bar one!

Someone turn this thing into a Monstourer:
Currently only Β£1 + Β£10 postage, including funky segmented fork, headset, stem, bars, seatpost. Just add wheels, brakes, groupset, saddle, cables/chain/etc. and a bunch of racks out of your parts bin. Sizing would be the only difficulty. Ends in a couple of hours!

Did someone buy it? Got a bunch of bidders towards the end...

lol

Pretty impractical looking, yeah, especially since recumbents don't allow for a lot of body english.
-
• #1458
Is there a background story? Maybe the user has an injury that doesn't allow for a normal position?
-
• #1459
Ha, when I had recumbents that was what lots of people assumed; beards are not an injury, they're a lifestyle.

What a bike. The detailing is lovely, especially the chainstay cutout.

I'll pass on your kind words.
I think plan is to build a rack for it and then rebuild it with gears for bespoked. This was hastily put together for sscxec this weekend. -

Maybe switch out the 2.35s for slightly smaller ones idk
Just need to put wald or rack on the front and I'm set -
• #1466
P7?
That's some mad clearance.
-
• #1467
Nah the volume is great! But at over a kilo its a lot of weight to get rotating..
-
• #1468
Yeah, has project 2's instead of original fork, but theres clearance front and rear if you wanna go bigger
Not sure the 65mm SKS could handle much more tho

Nice, there was a very similar build on ebay a while ago, is it the same?
-
• #1470
Please somebody bring this into the fold;

Nice... no frame is worth a visit to Hull though
Edit: ooh, same seller has an SSMTB up for sale
-
• #1472
Wow you must really hate Hull. Did someone piss on your chips there?
-
• #1473
Just joking, I'm sure it's got some nice bits... I thought everyone hated Hull

• #1474
Any thoughts on the new Cotic Escapade? Thinking of picking one up to replace my current frameset

Love my old one with the steel fork - it's been a cross bike, gravel bike, road bike, tourer.
New one looks great too and takes 650b x 50 tyres.
Yes I agree and I can get it for quite cheap via the shop I work at. Really don't need another bike though but it's tempting!
