I've thrown a yacht-moored-in-Monte-Carlo's worth of GBP at my Brom, in an attempt to make it lighter.
Thus far, it tips the scales at ~1kg more than my Ti road bike.
From the outset, I've wanted to keep it low key / anti theft.
Thus, much as I am attracted to blingy, blingy will have to stay in shop.

If they are lighter, it's not going to be by much as the plastic Brompton one is pretty light. Basically it's just bling.
