I just swapped to compressionless, the difference is significant. Bike-discount had a set for <€20 but you need to buy road inners as the ones that come with it are for MTB brakes.

Good shout! I have flat bar levers that take mtb cables anyway.

Would it be possible to comfortably ride on those hoods?

Your tyre orientation (or lack thereof) is a far bigger sin! ;)
Joking aside, that looks proper. Ti I presume? Any better/bigger pictures than this 640×504 one?

Buy whoever fitted those guards for you a pint. Make it two if it was you.

you meaning tire/valve orientation? Thought this was the functional thread!
Ti is right. I've got a bigger photo around here somewhere.
@alialias
My pal Jambo helped me out big time. They are swarf guards but they came with the apparently superior VO mounting hardware. Did some drilling myself but my pal is a bit more mechanically minded than me and was a huge help. There was a big gap after the initial fitting session on the rear but I ordered some 10mm m5 spacers and slotted one in at the seatstay bridge and one at the chainstay bridge
The front was even harder to mount as the custom alu mount I have for my dynamo light was making things tricky. My pal did some tidy work drilling the underside of the mount so I could mount the guard directly to it rather than to the fork.

Neo classic? What stem?

Ritchey comp stem bought from @Eamesy with the paint removed
Evomax bars - really like them.
Don't love the huge levers but they're not uncomfortable so low priority to change.

Really small drop handlebars? Or just dwarfed by frame?
Fork? Looks amazing
-
• #18145
pretty large frame - i'm about 198cm.
Fork is niner gravel fork. I'd actually like to replace it with a Rodeo Spork for the internal routing but this fork is probably the lightest one of this type on the market and a new fork is $$$ so that's low on the list.

There are functional reasons to align your tyre logos with the valve, makes tracking down the cause of punctures much easier and in the world of marginal gains, it makes locating the valve a bit quicker too.

Tout Terrain Outback. 27.5x3, Pinion gearbox, Gates belt drive, loads of mounts on frame and fork. Really want to try one. A bit like @BareNecessities Talbot but smaller I guess.
I see, didn't know about that.
I use BB7s on my tourer/commuter and I really can't fault them.
I might upgrade to some compressionless housing when I change my cables next time though.
