• A: none of the above. Get a zoom. What you loose in speed, you gain in versatility (and high ISO capabilities). My pick would be the old 28-105mm 3.5-4.5. A great lens even on the D750.

  • Fair point - I'm a student and have already spent quite a bit of money on the trip, so won't be buying anything.

    @h2o I'm torn between doing the sensible thing - taking the 35 - and just taking the 28 because I haven't used it a lot.

    Mostly I'd like to bring one lens so I won't have to constantly worry about changing lenses.

  • To be honest, you'll probably be fine with the 28mm. It's a nice focal length too, and not all that much wider than 35mm. I wouldn't take the 50mm alone, it'll be too constraining indoors.
