I have a Royce freewheel hub, has wierd gold dustcap things with no obvious way of removing them. At least, I had no clue how to remove, so I sent it to Cliff (I needed a small repair to the axle).
Mine’s a 36 and I have no huge desire to swap for a 24. I’m just keeping it for the proverbial rainy day.
No worries. Yeah, I know what you mean. I was going to attack it with spray grease if all else failed, but figured there must be some way of getting in there! Thanks.
