Something to do with the spoke tension or a loose nipple. He trued the wheel and the click disappeared.

Regarding the Chris King hub question you asked back in Jan I think they are great. i had Paerson Cycles build them to Arhetype rims and the whole combo is so comfortable. I did Milan San Remo this year on it and it was great.

No doubts the hubs are great... The only concern was the possibility that the anodisation doesn't match the headset that I already have.
But after the clicking disappeared from the rear wheel I'm not looking for something else.
In case I'll need to replace them I'd go for Chris King, for sure carbon rims... Will see!

Just in case anyone else needs the matching seatpost

Sadly the paintjob has been scratched away by lowering it too much, and as well is reaaally short... would be ideal only for small frames with no more than 10cm of exposed seatpost (from clamp to rails).

Planning to bring back to life my C40, period correct this time... full DA7700, 1" stem, 25.4 shallow drops, Ambrosio nemesis tub wheelset (not photoshopped as I'm not as good a @Tijs but you can imagine)
