A group of players who aren’t fit to wear the Arsenal shirt downing tools to get the greatest manager in club history sacked is pretty dispiriting though.

Fuck david pleat is anoying how does he get a job as a radio pundit.

Just thinking the same thing.

Wenger appears to be laying a platform for his successor, by making sure they're not in the Europa League next season.
I don't care what he'd done in the past, he ought to be removed from his job now. arsenal may well come back and win this, it doesn't matter though, the scenario is embarrassing to Wenger and Arsenal.
-
• #141407
I've doubt they've downed tools, Wenger is finished and should resign immediately.
-
• #141408
Who brought all those players in though?
-
• #141409
Unlikely anything to happen today, even if they lose to Brighton.
A thrashing at AC Milan on Thursday might do it, but I suspect he'll be fine until they are dumped out of the Europa League.
If he wins the Europa League then he should take that as a suitable high point to finish on, with the club in the Champions League the next season.
Maybe Arsenal are waiting for Pardew to become available...

You know kalsinak (bad spelling ) will get the winner.
-
• #141413
I said riskier not a definite no no as Chelsea and United would be.
-
• #141414
It wasn't even a foul - just a coming together.
Either way we're a bunch of useless bottle jobs

Or a manager that has been left behind unable to organise or motivate a talented group of players.
Choose your bias

How do you motivate a group of pyschopaths?

So after chelsea’s loss to Man City, we’re five points clear in fourth and only a couple behind Utd and Liverpool in the race for second.
Will be an interesting race for the top four, and hoping we can overhaul the clubs above us..
Juventus on Wednesday and I’m going to be in Madrid working. Got to score early and make juventus chase the game, I don’t want us to rely on our defensive solidity to eke out a result.. -

Personal gains, see the pay structure of sales people

Where do I apply?

Oddly, he did better under the financial constraints of the stadium debt years. Sanchez, Ozil, Xhaka, Mustafi, Lacazette all £30m plus signings, and none of them have really done anything for him.

3 FA Cups out of the last 4. Whatever you think of the competition that isn’t all bad.
I for one hope he continues for another 4 seasons.

• #141422
City made us look very ordinary. Just when Spurs and Liverpool are kicking on we’re starting to stall.
At least we’ve got Palace next to get morale up and then it’s our annual 3 points at home against Spurs.

Is conte deliberatly hindering the team to make a point to the board ? Or trying to bore himself in to the sack ?
@WornCleat what has the feeling in the stands been on Conte, it frustrationg that he tends to leave changing things till its late in the game. -

A few people are adopting the "Wenger Out" style approach which is not helpful or enjoyable. The majority appear to be in the camp that will support him and sing his name to encourage him but feel that if he wants to go he should go PROVIDED THAT there is a better replacement available and willing to come.
One thing that is clear is that the lack of a core of leaders such as Lampard, Terry and Drogba, has really hit the team. We need to think of bringing one of those back into the side as an assistant coach to whoever assumes the mantle in the summer. Players need to play for something more than their wage packet. There needs to be more connection between players and the crowd. To do this, they need to be led by those who are similarly motivated.

this sounds like a good plan.
are there any managers out there looking for work/that can be lured?
do you think they'd be a long term prospect or do you think you need an interim solution?
I think Conte continuing looks like a good interim solution, but i'm not a chelsea fan...
Arsenal tv will be good tonight if it stays like this. Claude will explode
