Hope so!
We're closing in on the logo lockup. Here's our final options.

#1 & #2 er my favourites.

Why do you need cycles on the bike?, its obvious. Just reserve that for the stationery, bit cleaner then. I'd use the heavy bold again in caps if I was going to include it. the lower case is at odds with the rest of the logo's boldness, it looks a bit non commital. Love the cat.

Stribe only for the bike, no doubt!

Yes, we're leaning towards 1 or 2.

Some tighter kerning on #1 and you're there I reckon

I think no 1 looks better on the bike , non italic works better on a downtube, imo.

tru say , the angular letters in the Serotta font make it line up with the tube tho.

#1 is more fun, like a MTB. #2 makes it look like you are a super fast 23c tire rider which is not the vibe I think you are going for imo. maybe i am reading too much into typesetting.

We're also planning to do a road thingy.
Serotta logo is amazing. One of the best.
Thanks for all the responses. Great input. Seems like we are heading in the right direction.

When are you taking orders?
-
• #47
For the hardtail, hopefully before summer. We've just set up a mailing list for those that want to be the first to know. We'll probably do a mini earlybird run before taking normal orders. http://www.stribecycles.com/mailinglist/

Is it just me who likes 3/4/5? Bit more fun.
-
• #49
Also leaning more towards 4/5. 1&2 have been done to death. But then again people still think it looks good so it might be the way to go

Thank you.
I've got WTB Scrappers on mine - decals pealed off easily, but they are fair chunk heavier (and wider) than those^.
Considered the WTB ASYM i35? - You'd have to check on pealability but they are the same sort of weight as those DTs and a touch wider, which is part of the point of going plus.
At the risk of continually posting my Jamis, here is my actual machine, complete with mat blue color scheme and stealthed wheels.
