I've been vegan for about two years now, and I'd say I feel like I get sick less often than before. I generally feel much better overall, although I think this is more likely down to a decrease in the amount of processed foods I eat, rather than specifically vegan.
As others have said, if you're worried maybe keep a closer eye on what you're eating for a bit, to make sure you're getting a decent amount of nutrients.
It seems like there have been some pretty brutal flus/sickness/viral shit going around this season though, pretty much everyone seems to have caught something, so maybe it's just a thing.

Congrats @Cazakstan, glad you found the swap easy!
I’m beginning to tire of the knuckle-draggers I work with asking me what I eat at least once a week despite seeing me cook in front of them every day. I reckon they spend £5-10 a day each on a diet of bacon and egg roll, cake and coffee from the same shit caff. Always a corner shop/kebab shop visit if it’s an option or failing that the same packed lunch they’ve had since they were 5...

Not sure you can start linking this sickness thing to veganism. There is just a really fucking nasty flu going round this year that’s hitting everyone harder than usual.

If you are starting to doubt whether you are strengthening or weakening your body with a vegan diet, I suggest you check out nutritionfacts.org

I’m not drawing any definitive conclusions, simply asking if anyone has experienced anything similar.
After nearly theee decades of eating a certain way god knows exactly how the body may react to a substantial change. Everyone is different i guess.

I got a bad dose of a cold 3 weeks after changing, but haven't been sick since (just over a year). And I have always had at least one cold a year since I was a kid.
https://cronometer.com/ is good at giving you an idea of the breakdown of nutrients you getting. I found that if I am getting enough calories (vegan ones), then most targets get hit. -

Arancini Brothers (Kenish Town) have gone fully vegan > amen. Cakes looked good but came for burgers and chips. Didn’t disappoint but not cheap.

So, I'd never considered that toothpaste wasn't vegan. Seems most contain glycerine from animals. I've identified that Colgate doesn't use animal-based glycerine (good), but does still test on animals (much less good) - not necess. What are people using that they can be sure of?
Also, in the interests of making life even more difficult, what other products might we be blithely using that are not ethically pure?

lush toothy tabs are great for this. No animal products. Not tested on animals. Also great because they come in recycled and recycleable plastic bottles. Toothpaste tubes are not recycleable at all it seems.

Seems like loads of vegan choices of gelato in prime gelato Shaftesbury avenue.

Superdrug and co-op own brand toothpastes are marked vegan and not tested on animals. All of their toiletries are marked vegan if they are.

Pics or it didn’t happen. I’ve been to 420 thread - I know you have a camera

Took a pic of the seitan pre frying, but not after, too busy eating. Sriracha batter was yummy.

So, was out running yesterday and stumbled across Temple of Camden - it's just a couple of yards off the towpath, so not as badly situated as previously thought. It was quiet at 12.15, but packed by 12.30.
Menu is more extensive than the Hackney branch. I had the spicy 2-piece, which wasn't great - tasted a bit too much of the dry spices it had been rolled in. Some of the things other people were eating looked much better, so I may just have made a bad menu choice. Also, I'm getting over flu, so my taste buds aren't working that well. Portions are huge.
