Two questions:
First of all i have a couple of Alpkit Toliari panniers mounted on a Blackburn outpost front rack. They are clip-ons and seem to fit well, but do they need to be fastened to the rack at the bottom? There are fabric ladder loops that look like thats what they are for...?
Secondly, i have had a bit of a struggle attaching the rack to my forks because the eyelets are too close to the dropouts to allow the attachment to line up. I have managed to get it on by screwing it into the mid fork braze-ons and then at the top with a couple of p-clips around the upper fork. It seems fine overall, nice and straight and the rack sits nice and flat. I just want to post some pictures and get some opinions incase it's a big no-no to do it this way, for whatever reason.
