How bad would it be to get a pair of healthy kittens put to sleep (euthanised) if you knew the person left looking after them would/does neglect them?

What bit is unclear?
Pair of healthy kittens, left with someone that cannot care for them. Cannot look after them/feed them regularly/unable to clean the indoor litter. The person doesn't seem to notice the distress and neglect to cats and does not want to allow the kittens to go to be rehomed.

What to do?

how close are to the person ??If your not close call rspca they will take and re home
If you are close have a massive heart to heart try to show that they are hurting kittens by not looking after them offer to take them on and you will bring them for visits ?

alternative arm the kittens with hammers and frozen sausages they will work out what to do.

I'd suggest if they can't look after them/feed them etc. they must be rehomed. Not sure the owner should have any say on this....

You see a couple of kittens being treated badly and your first thought is to have them killed? What is wrong with you?
