  • So, I'd never considered that toothpaste wasn't vegan. Seems most contain glycerine from animals. I've identified that Colgate doesn't use animal-based glycerine (good), but does still test on animals (much less good) - not necess. What are people using that they can be sure of?

    Also, in the interests of making life even more difficult, what other products might we be blithely using that are not ethically pure?

  • lush toothy tabs are great for this. No animal products. Not tested on animals. Also great because they come in recycled and recycleable plastic bottles. Toothpaste tubes are not recycleable at all it seems.

  • Superdrug and co-op own brand toothpastes are marked vegan and not tested on animals. All of their toiletries are marked vegan if they are.
