Only 3 other cyclists seen between SW15 and SE1 although it was much later than normal (9.45am start).
Studded tyres very necessary for the first half a mile or so as none of the local roads had been gritted, almost completely unnecessary for the following 7 miles (but I did enjoy the confidence they give even when I detour into the snow/slush/possible-ice at the side).
That fucking headwind though, slowest commute by a long way (almost twice my fastest ever time). Doing it at the end of a 36h fast was also a bonus.
Coming in from the west the wind sucked and it felt slow but the roads were mostly fine. Bike paths mostly not clear so I just hung to the road. There were a few other bikes out but less traffic in general. I also left later than usual.
