  • TFL cameras are good for live snow reports

  • jam cams :)

  • Ugh...I really hope I don't have to go tonight. Don't want to be away from home for more than necessary.

  • Who just flicked the blizzard switch? It was fairly bright five minutes ago.

  • hehe yeah just got dark and 'snowy' in west is best.

  • And it’s all melted again.

  • Still in your office?

  • We had a decent amount this morning in Essex but it's been clear skies for most of the day. My cat's been playing out in it for hours, first time he's seen snow deep enough to jump about in: https://photos.app.goo.gl/o2SFd8ru2SEvjyJR2

  • BEST DAY EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I mean. I may be 30, but snow makes me regress.
Spent the first 2 hours this morning riding up and down primrose hill and round as much of the inner part of Regent's park as possinble. Because snow. Squeaky tyres. That fresh crunch. The smell. The glorious lack of smell. That wobbly feeling as the light isn't good enough to make out depth and you flail around.
Only a couple of falls, mostly because I couldn't tell where the road ended and pavement began at times.
Probably should go to work now or something.

    Boast post!

    Never stop enjoying snow days.

  • Much snowiness in Herne Hill.

  • Looks same out here. Very pretty. Missus just rode off to work on her Sequoia (42mm tyres).

  • Working from home these days means I have not played in the snow much. Just packed mrs_com off to go to Thornton Heath station. We live at the top of Grange Road. It will either take her ages or she'll make in record time. She was not too happy heading out.

  • The wife’s working from home today, trains are fucked. She has never gone sledging in her life, so we just went up the local hill and I launched her down on a yoga mat. Never seen anyone look so happy!

  • Blustery conditions in central London...

  • Nice pics there - London feeling very Dickensian with the snow flakes lit by street lamps

  • Like this pic a lot.

  • Next Level

  • Great photo Soul

  • The amount of people trying to log on remotely has crashed the system and I actually can't do any meaningful work. Would be out frolicking in the snow but:

a: it's -4c, overcast and gusting blizzardy clouds of snow dust all over the place. do not want.
b: my two year old daughter has decreed it "too cold" and I think i agreed. when I tried to make snowman version 2.1 in sunny but similar temperatures yesterday, it was so cold and the snow was so powdery it wouldn't stick together. It just fell apart like dry sand.
d: am being deluged with texts from people trying to pretend they're still working. give up dudes.

@mashton, see it arrived with you guys eventually. I'm out in Faversham, East Kent.

Need to head off these texting try-hards and do some serious hunkering down.

  • Was much nicer riding today than yesterday, back to dry snow. Managed riding til just now when the ice build up ripped the sidewall of my rear tyre....

  • It's cold

  • So what's c?

You thought we wouldn't c it but you were wrong.
