  • I had a play with a lot of fold up bikes this weekend at the London Bike Show, first and foremost I was really impressed with the hummingbird bike, amazingly light and handles like a dream. Granted the design isn't to everyone's cuppa tea but I did have fun effortless riding it.

I then played with the gocycles, which hasn't changed IMO from V1 and then I finally got a chance to play with the electric Brompton and especially with my current knee niggle the bike rode like a dream, I had an amazing time on it as the motor unlike the gocycle which is like a nos boost to your ride, the Brompton was like a old turbo that kicks in when you start pedalling which is nice aids you when you're riding and at a descent speed as well (considering the fact it weighed more than 16kg ).

However, i would still prefer one without the battery (until my knees gives up), the only decision at the moment is which colour (yes i am that vain)
