Think the DUC had a 24mm axle so that added stiffness, but a lighter chassis so maybe some more give in the legs and crown.
Sideways cycles used to have old stock and spares but appear not to anymore. Finding spares will be ebay and most likely USA, although sideways might be a good starting place.
Ahead of there time when Maverick came out, shame they stopped production.
Only got to use the Dual crown as they where specced on the Whyte 46 which i was going to buy......
Zocchi on the other hand, single crowns had a rep for being twangy when pushed hard, came in 120 and 100mm, open bath HSCV cartridge, standard bushes and seals, 20mm axle, coil springs,
Would be easier to rebuild a Shiver.
