G-One is that gap, no? Or do you mean one that’s available in 25-28? A G-One in those sizes for those without large clearances would sell well, I imagine. I do think the masses still just trust Conti though, which is a shame as Schwalbe’s are so good.

g ones are so good.
have ridden 30s 35s and 40s.
was on the 35s today mainly shitty roads with the odd detour through the woods. flawless.
have punctured on all sizes but that was with lots of off road and touring. all have sealed fine, except one where i plugged with an anchovy. amazing tires.

Pro 1 are arguably much faster tyres than Duranos. Of course they will flat more

To add the g one love, my 38/40c pair is nearing 6000 km. The rear maybe need replacing soon as the small knobs is starting to flat on the center.

Yes, I mean a tyre that's available in 25c as that's the largest tyre I can fit on my road bike (and many others will be in the same situation). It wouldn't seem that difficult make G-One in smaller sizes.

Consider the Maxxis Padrones, I swapped out my Pro Ones for them.
Got them in 25 & 28's.
Tubeless guru @thecycleclinic recommends and stocks the IRC range which are supposed to be very good. -

FWIW I ran duranos tubeless on hunt wheels with no problems at all (other then the initial getting them on, and leaving the wheels flat to get the sidewalls to seal)

plug the puncture that wont seal. you also maybe using stans mistake. tubeless tyres should remain fitted until the have to replaced because the beads stretch and that make re seating difficult. you have to remove the tyre and it wont seal apply more tubeless tape.
mistakes mistakes mistakes. never fit a tube you will knacker your tyres.
I will say it again. All tubeless issues i have read on this thread and other are user error almost without exception.

bead stretch with non tubeless tyres is more of a problem and may or may not cause issues in the long run.

Yes, I see what you mean.
Stan's sealant just pissed out of the hole and was f*ckin useless. The hole was actually quite small. At least, the first one was. I've ordered some of that effeto stuff.
I also need to invest in worms / anchovies. I can see I was too quick to abandon hope and go for the tube option.

I'm pretty sure the tyre is beyond saving, it's quite worn anyway so I've ordered a Maxxis Parone; will see how I get on with that and the effeto sealant.

Don’t worry
I have had loads of punctures that sealed and I was unaware of them.
I got thousands of miles out of s-one tyres and it was only when I finally took them off I found the mudguards of commuto x biek were lined with dried stans sealant.

Maybe avoid a screw-on adapter, as they can loosen the valve cores.

I've got a fabric MTB pump, it's served me well so far.

If you are worried about re-mounting the tyres then bring CO2.
Screw on adapters can be annoying as above but the good ones do not take your valve cores with them. Look for the little button on the hose that balances the pressure.

I think Stan's is fine for punctures, I just find it a pain to set-up and clean.

I'm hoping it might actually become available at some point. Despite the press fanfare, there doesn't appear to be any actually for sale in the wild.
When I eventually build my Isen, I will be going for G-Ones. It's been delayed due to another non bike related project, but will definitely be riding that next winter!
I think Schwalbe have a bit of a gap in their tubeless range; the Pro-1 is a nice tyre for dry conditions and good roads, but it's not a 4 seasons tyre.
