  • Don’t be a dick - It’s entirely possible that someone else has taken a photo of it and posted it online somewhere - the OP can find it and post it if they want free and definitive ‘what biek is dis’ services

  • I honestly don't think I'm being a dick.

Quite sure OP looked for a photo before asking a group of people who wasn't there.

  • I honestly don't think I'm being a dick.

    Then I suggest

“The OP said he didn’t take a photo”

    Not

    “Did you read the post?”

    To avoid confusion

  • Easy lads,

    No harm no foul..

I think I found the bike, thanks everyone for the input...

  • I know the bike. Belongs to George who works for the UK distro

It's a SuperX team himod frame with the fork from a slate on and 650 wheels. He built it for TNR and I rode with him. The dirt I'm pretty sure is still from the Via de Sale

  • Ok thanks for that,

Expensive bit of kit then. It kinda makes sense it is a factory type bike as it did not look like something you would see on the regular shop floor of Evans...

    Regards

    EDIT:: Yep thats the puppy....

  • Very anti.

  • Pukes on cock

  • There’s always time to highlight the weakness of the rhetorical question as a way of positively influencing people. #shitfixieskidderssay

    Here’s some more sympathetic photos

  • I like that it look like it got more clearance than the Slate even.

  • Cube Nuroad look good, £1299 with 105 hydraulic, thru axles, internal routing (look like full housing from derailleurs to shifters), clearance for 40mm tyres, etc.

Be interesting if it could accept 650b with 48mm tyres.

  • pumped up these byways to 2 bars and I was kind of hesitant how they feel (compared to 30-40mm 700c)

    • quick but not road tyre quick
    • a bit more nervous steering with less wheel flop and lower trail

but when I went to 1,3-1,5 they transformed.

    • amazing and predictable grip (for a tyre that rolls great on tarmac)
    • almost the same rolling resistance with greatly increased comfort
    • a bit more resistance to steering inputs via larger contact patch
    • BLISS!
  • a bit more resistance to steering inputs via larger contact patch.

That's my main advantage of riding 650b, lower pressure with lower trail mean it feel quicker compare to a 700c with a higher trail.

  • a bit more in 1,5 compared to 2,0 which felt a bit nervous i mean

  • Do bears shit in the woods

  • a bit agricultural, untidy welds

To say the least! But they are solid, I've given mine plenty of punishment in the last 10 months. The colours are better now, too.

  • Seems to be lacking in eyelets though.

Good value as per w/ Cube.

May I ask where you work ?

  • It got mudguard and rear rack mount, reckon that's plentiful for a typical gravel bike.

I'm a mechanic at Evans St Paul.

  • look like full housing from derailleurs to shifters

Shame they went with a cheaper crankset.

  • It's still a non series Shimano 11 speed chainset, which is a much better option than the FSA offering we usually see at this price range.

Only difference is that it's heavier than the 5800 chainset by around 200g.

  • much better option than the FSA offering we usually see

    Very true.

  • Still looks better than the 8000

  • Thinking about selling this atm. Lovely bike now its got Sram hydro. But I feel like its too nice to bash 130 miles a week commuting on.

And I want a MTB for getting more rad etc.

So if anyone is interested just PM me.

  • Should there be a picture? Not seeing any.
