The fact they took so long to release them (and that Campag stuff generally wears well) , I'd hope they'd be better. I also believe they partnered up with Magura to design them.
The thing is, Shimano have made shite brake calipers for decades and they've not done anything about it. As for SRAM, hopefully they're better than Avid used to be.....

Magura made some awful kit too - including a master cylinder design where if you put the bar clamp on upside down the clamp screw pierced the reservoir. Amazing.
Another anecdote that supports the theory that getting light, compact, ergonomic and effective hydraulic bicycle brakes right is simply bloomin’ difficult. None of it works as consistently and is as durable & tolerant as a cable driven rim brake caliper.
Hats off to campag if they cracked it though.
Given they have comparatively naff all experience of hydraulic shiz - and probably fewer patents - I would be pleasantly surprised if this was the case.
