• What are the current recommended go to have no problem with disc brakes for a road bike?

I have the Juin Techs which are good but could be better. Any SRAM rival I have seen have lever problems. Most shimano seem to have leaky calipers.

  • I'd bet Campag brakes will require less faff than any of the SRAM/Shimano stuff; probably costly though.

Otherwise; Shimano, bin the calipers and replace them with Hope.

It's a shame TRP don't release a Spyre V2 to fix the issues as they stop fine and are reliable.

Given they have comparatively naff all experience of hydraulic shiz - and probably fewer patents - I would be pleasantly surprised if this was the case.

  • I'd bet Campag... ... will require less faff ...

    Said no-one ever.

TBF I have no first-hand experience of Campag discs, but that's because I do have first-hand experience of other things Campag and that experience dictates that I'll choose the path of least resistance.
