It lives! Shit tyres. Shit cranks. Shit front wheel. No grips. No rear brake (see previous post). Still, I think I have a new favourite bike.

For future reference the 2008 Surly 1x1 frames (and presumably all other Surlys) take a m10 x 1mm canti brake/stud/mount/whatever you want to call it.

I have a rear wheel that matches that front, if you either want a matching rear or to sell that front please let me know haha.

Looks nice. I've e-mailed Brixton Cycles to see if they have them for sale yet.

Is it a guy who works at rapha shop? If so that used to be my 1x1! Recently my 65yr old dad commuted on it, used to get occassional amazed looks from hipsters as a badly dressed old guy rode past on a surly with carbon DH bars, xtr brakes etc

I'm sure I've read in several places that you can, but what conversion kit you need ( dependant on it being Pro2, Pro2 Evo, or Pro4 ) is still a mystery to me.

That's enough for me. I'll throw money at my LBS and I'm sure they'll figure something out.
