  • I'm figthing an urge to fit a small front rack to my V3 (original fork), but don't want to double-up on the front, currently occupied, mudguard mounts, or mount to the axle.
I don't want to buy a new fork, but do own a drill, rivet nut tool, and some stainless M5 rivet nuts.
Does the forum believe there's enough thickness in the legs of the Pomp fork to accommodate rivet nut installation without compromising strength?
Would obvs braze ideally, but CBA with paint removal, expense and faff. Will paint over whatever I do install.
Finally (not normally worried about this, but) would this make the fork more or less desirable/valuable, in light of recent discontinuations...?
