  • As a teacher, I think the idea of being armed is fantastic.

    Behaviour management would be so much easier if you could just tap your holster and give a meaningful glance at whoever was acting up, and you could settle any with a simple "shut up and remember I'm the one with the gun" without needing to resort to any boring kinds of mature arguments.

    Also I'd say only about a third of the people who go into teaching do so because they're the weird kind of people who like exerting authority over others, the smaller and weaker the better, so that shouldn't be too big an issue.

    I literally can't see what could possible go wrong.

    Hmmm, I've seen through your ironic tone but don't worry, I've a solution; We'll arm the children so they can protect themselves against the armed bad-guy teacher cowards gone rogue.
