  • They just could not leave it alone in ST disco.....

  • Altered Carbon, episode 8. no spoilers but not quite sure what all the naked fighting was meant to bring to the action. is that a big thing in the book?

  • It's fighting naked, what's not to like?

  • Having to wade through 7 episodes before you get to it.

  • Cloverfield Paradox - meh, ok ish, certainly seems a little better than "made for TV", but not cinema ticket price for sure.
Its a shame such a great original is suffering not so great sequels....

  • yeah it was dogshit on a stick. there was a recent episode of STD that handled an almost identical plot device with a better script, better acting and better direction.

also: STD is the best thing on telly for yonks. don't @ me.

Hi, Michael, this is Ash Tyler. Can you hear me?

  • STD's story arc was pretty amazing, all that stuff crammed into fifteen episodes... There were at least two seasons of any other ST series in there... Probably more...

    Mental show...

  • last ep for me tonite.

i did not see the twist coming.

  • Hi, Michael, this is Ash Tyler. Can you hear me?

    yeeeeeeeess!

  • x files has been a massive dissapointment for me this "new" season. the last season had some clunky episodes but some diamonds too , not so this season---they both just seem to be blindly reading a script and looking bored and wooden until the director says "now look awe'd by something on the screen/phone/distance..."

  • Mulder's voiceover monologues in Ep1 ruined it for me. Latest ep was better, it was at least occasionally funny.

  • finally catching up with Fargo season 3, brutal and brilliant!

  • agreed.
the lack of chemistry between the two seems to have reached new heights (or lows!) now though.

  • Series 3 of Channel Zero arrived on the internet purchase list last week.

Loosely based on elements from this set of stories off reddit:

only seen episode 1 but has potential to be a stupid yet enjoyable way to kill some time.

the last two series have suffered greatly from a big drop off in quality of story in the second half though so who knows.

but fuck it, it has monster midgets in it.

  • yeah the first series was great. packed it in 3 eps into season 2. monster midgets might tempt me back.

  • monster midgets with meat mallets. (bit of an 80s trolls/ghoulies kind of schtick)

    Currently reading 'part 3':
"The frozen body of a one-year-old baby, found a week after vanishing in the hollow trunk of a tree ten miles from the area he was seen last. There was fresh milk found in his stomach, but his tongue was gone."

  • Derry Girls Episode 6.. The whole series has been a good watch, the finale took it up a notch

  • I agree, great series and the best ending to a series I think I've ever seen.

  • I got bored after 2, might carry on if there's nothing else on but not in a rush.

  • I'm on the last episode now. I think it's great.

I love the constant digs at Gerry, and all the anti-English stuff directed at James.

  • Both This Country and Young Offenders on iPlayer. While not amazing, both have made me laugh out loud a lot and I really like them.

  • The Joel McHale Show with Joel McHale on netflix.

Big fan of community, but actually a little angry my subscription payment each month somehow makes me ever so slightly complicit in the fact that this was ever made. If I had access to a Men in Black memory zapper I'd make myself forget ever watching it.

    -2/10

  • Glad I thought that looked a bit shit earlier and didn't bother.
