If anyone could pull off riding a 58T there it'd be you but at the spinny end of the TTing world I wouldn't run one.
As soon as I inflated the tyre on the Shiv last night it started hissing air out of a cut in the tyre. Although it's not rideable at least it now has a very clean cassette. sigh

I remember dying on 42x28 up one of the hills!

My Omniums have double hex. Quick google suggests it's not that simple but these may do-
https://www.bikester.co.uk/truvativ-chainring-bolts-steel-5-pcs-black-466162.htmlI have no idea of the provenance of the shop or specific product though.

I've never ridden it but I've read enough reports to think that a 58 would be 'interesting'. :)

Let’s just say, it’s not a course designed for you.
You’d get lost before the hill anyway.

I get Xav's spreadsheet and immediately delete any line with "hilly", "spoco" or "sporting" in it. :)

What is the translation for the text in the left?

@fizzy.bleach can translate

The highlighted bit says 'Customized extensions/last Run Position and simultaneous baseline for suit & Co'. I'm guessing you probably had to be there. Co might be an abbreviation for cockpit though.

Below that it looks like they are testing different (short sleeve) skinsuits - a Katusha sports one and a Bioracer one.
-
• #2164
Arm positions too - 1cm spacer and arm pads 2cm closer together.
-
• #2165
Yeah - that looks like the two above the highlighted row

danstuff has it basically.
Something like "Customised extensions / last Run Position and simultaneous Baseline for suits etc."
No idea what it means/what it's referring to, so that translation might be a bit off.

It's no wonder he's so rubbish at TTs at the moment ... all the pressure mapping they've been doing has killed his CdA
-
• #2170
I just need a skinsuit like that and I'll be that skinny. Sweet.

A more likely meaning for "angepaßt" is 'adjusted' ('customised' doesn't quite capture it, although that is part of the effect achieved). Note that 'extension' is in the singular--either a mistake or German testers say it like that. Needless to say, I don't have any idea what went on here, either. :)

Yeah, I think I'll experiment tomorrow by placing the Garmin sensor thing by the valve stem to see if it still provides a speed reading. If that works well then I'll try and make it as small as possible to wedge into the valve hole.
Finally got around to doing this today before race tomorrow. Garmin picks up the speed reading fine, but I haven’t done a test ride to see if the readings are accurate. Nice snug fit between drive-side valve cover and the valve stem, but will also stick a bit of blue tack on it for good measure.

Made a new account and payment went through. Think it was because I had some old dormant account.
I ordered 110bcd 58t to go onto my p2m.
Reckon I’ll wait until after north road hard riders to try it out. I’m not hard enough for it there.
