Around two weeks ago on my commute I noticed the rear gear paddle hadn't sprung back to its resting position. So naturally I pushed it back. The paddle did not move back to it home, it fell off and all cable tension went with it. I had to ride the next two and a half miles in either 46x11 or 36x11. Not bad but not great.
I thought about just replacing the broken lever but after little to no persuading from @PhilDAS, I decided to upgrade to 11 speed. After a few days perusing a popular web based auction I ended up with a set of Force 22 levers and Force 22 RD.
Looking to change the silver placeholder seatpost and swap out the Deda stem soon.
Happy to have another trusty Riva saddle again!
