What fork? Doesn't look standard.
-
• #3881
I'll get more photos tomorrow, but i'm lead to believe it's a standard Alpina- just painted matte black.
-
• #3882
Yes, looks to have that 'lip' half way down the fork, as Alpina ones do.

Been fettling mine and think it's about perfect for me now.
Think I'm going to paint over the white 3T logos at some point though.

So road fork fitted as suggested by edscoble and it's back ridding much nicer, reckon I need a 165mm crank and that's it no more messin, although might rattle can it black

Hey guys,
Finally got the cash together to get myself a pre cursa I've been longing to get for quite some time! I have a few questions. So I'm going with a 60cm black frame and would like to have it look something like the one from the below pic/video.
https://www.pedalroom.com/bike/dolan-pre-cursa-60cm-7222

So my questions are from the above bike could you give me the spec on the below components?
Handlebar: Deda RHM01 but what handlebar size?
Stem size?
Headset spacer?
Pedals? - looking at mtb style pedals what do people recommend?Any other suggestions before I buy it?
Thanks guys :)

Bars and stem in that video are 3T but if you’re set on Deda RHM bars I would go for the 02 rather than the 01; they have oval tops which I’ve found are comfier than the round ones. They are shallow drop mind. Length of stem/width of bars/stack is entirely based on what you currently have/prefer and as for “MTB pedals” do you mean SPDs or flats with straps?
At least with the Deda stuff it’s cheap enough to swap if it’s too long/wide etc. but I’d do a bit more research geometry-wise if you’re questioning how many headset spacers to use..

Remember Deda bars are measured outside to outside. So 38's are more like 35 c-c (my preference).

How tall are you? I’m 6 ft 3ish and I ended up pretty stretched even on a larger frame, as PC’s are often super long. Definitely worth checking the geo before you bite the bullet

Ahhhhhh so when washing my Dolan FXE before repainting it I noticed that the 56t chainring I was using has worn through the paint and to some extent the metal of the chainstay. Does anyone know how thick the chainstay walls are - I'm just trying to work out if the chainstay is going to explode and kill me...

Thick as iron(y)

Dolan TC1 thoughts since they changed the seat clamp?
Solved the problems they once had?
-
• #3898
Solved one problem.
Tubes on rear triangle are not as sculpted as those on the old Track Champion. Less stiff and cost saving. -
