  • 6800 & 6500 has now sold. A few items added and some price drops

  • Are those wheels still about? If so I have questions:

    • what's the hub spacing? Can the rear be converted to a 135mm QR?
    • is it possible to swap to a regular old Shimano/SRAM free-hub body?
  • Yeah still available. The spacing i’m not 100% sure on but they will take 11spd shimano freehub.

I’ve not looked into converting them to QR, but I can’t see why not. Formula will most likely do a converter i would imagine.

  • Cool, if the spacing is 135mm it's easy to convert to QR. If it's 12×142mm it depends whether or not it's possible to swap the end caps I think. Would you be able to measure them and get back to me?

  • They are 142mm

  • Ah right. I'll do a bit of research and see if I can get them to work somehow

  • Price drops

    Disc wheelset - £140 posted
    Thomson X4 - £27.50 posted
    RSX wheelset - £35 posted

  • Just to update you, I can't find any information about swapping the end caps for 135mm QR so I don't think they're going to work for me. I'm building a wheelset instead. GLWS!

  • Yeah no problem mate

  • Interested in wheels but confused by XD driver. Does this mean only compatible with XX type cassettes, so more for 1x setup?

  • It's for SRAM cassettes that are generally 10-42t and 1x

  • Yeah as @Dogs said, it’s a Sram specific freehub they designed to allow a 10t sprocket on the back. It’s only compatible with their X1 groupsets.

That being said it is removable and can be replaced to suit other groupsets.

  • Thanks all. So would it be s simple as swapping out freehub, or would the wheel need to be redished?

  • The axle lenth is staying the same so i belive there is no need to redish. The hub is made by formula so it would be a case of getting one that fits the pawls basically.

  • Updated items, some stuff moved to eBay etc.
