Saggy cheek syndrome?

Well it's okay-ish. The shape still feels okay, more or less. The texture is not that great anymore and the rear is super scuffed. I'm in Vietnam, I might just buy something else in Hanoi.

Friendly fat guy did a 180 rubber side up smash into the ground on it a couple of months ago which may or may not have helped

Would lacing it help?

I figurered this crowd might know.
Does anyone know of anywhere that does a carbon disc fork with mudguard mounts that's non tapered, that will take 35mm tyres. Can't seem to find one anywhere. Every fork that could be suitable is tapered! -

Genesis do one , comes on certain CDF models , Alu steerer I believe.
This one.
Not sure where you could get one from though.

Soma have the Fog Cutter fork available separately as well as an 'All-roadgravel' fork which looks the same but black. Neither is lightweight.

https://whiskyparts.co/forks/no7_cx_qr_disc comes in a straight steerer, has removable disc mounts, takes more than 35c tyres and is pretty light.

So expensive though. Want a pair of those for my CDF but not sure I will ever afford them.

We were discussing this the other day in the Orient Express thread. There's a Spot CX fork for $199, not sure about the shipping though.
Edit: with shipping to UK and taxes it's $284.98. Still pretty good.

5 year warranty vs orient express risk of death.
If I go for it I’ll get the whisky, unless there’s a comparable alternative. Can get on trade but still a hell of a lot of money with VAT.
Was even toying with selling my road bike and buying whisky forks and new wheels for the CDF, need to ride the road bike first though as it’s been so long I’ve forgotten how good it is.

Nah, this one's not from China, we were just discussing it in that thread. Spot is a US brand I think. 2 year warranty (I think) although postage back to the US if it fails is obviously not cheap.
Damn, that's not good. What now? Where are you now by the way?
